Thanks to everyone on this forum - I put on the Stage 1, PCIII and V&H Ovals --- Removed the lower fairings - and the heat problem is history. I really can't believe the difference - wish I had done this before I even took delivery.

This engine is running cool and it really woke up the power.

If anyone is thinking of buying an 07 - just go ahead and do it all before you even pick it up and save yourself from frying and having to listen to your old lady bitch.

Glad the heat issue seems to have gone away for you. I wonder if MoCo has any plans to address this on the '08's. I can't wait to see if they add anything new and exciting.

 

Hey, its good to hear thatthe stage one really takes care of the heat ( lean condition ). I'm looking forward to doing the same thing on my 07 ultra. [8D]

Glad you were able to get it the way you like it.

I am convinced the existing air cooled V-twin technologycannot allow the engine to run correctly under EPA restrictions. It's a shame we have to spend an additional $1000 and risk fines just to have our bikes run correctly.

I truly believe that HD will soon offer a water cooled version that will put out bigger numbers and meet the EPA regulations. I just hope they keepa line of the old models for usdie-hards.

 

All I had to do on my 07 was the PCIII. It took care of the lean condition and heat issue.
