These are very cool looking I would guess that you would have to drill into the engine guard to run the wiring, I like these.

OK so lots of good ideas, I have lowers on my engine guard. So on the RGS I'd like to mount to calipers or fender mount. The lights that mount too the guard from cirius look good if they not only make you visual but give some enhancement to the stock lighting. Anyone running these as driving lights or just so oncoming traffic can see you better?

 

For the Cirius lights you have to drill two mounting holes on each side and tap with a 4-40 tap, plus a 1/4" hole for the wires to go into the guard, so 3 total each, and it's fairly critical that they are located properly, I'm sure. They said that you would use existing holes in the guard to get the wires out.

I think I'll get the amber ones for my 14 trike, though, should make it look wider from the front. I figure I'll make a drill guide out of some 2x4 stock and a clamp or something to get the alignment right; maybe face then outwards 10 degrees to get a little side visibility, too. Flip the guide over to do the other side.

They do come with instructions on how to seal everything up with silicone caulk or something when you put them on, corrosion shouldn't be a problem.
