believe it or not...I've used Armor-All for years on my engine. Just spray it on and let it set for a few minutes, then wipe the chrome off with a micro-fiber towel and that's it. Just let the Armor-All dry on the engine (and frame areas where you cant reach any way). Works fantastic and only a fraction of the cost of the other products.

I use an all purpose cleaner to clean the black cases, then comes the real magic. I use Adam's premium car care in and out spray to keep the wrinkle black looking nice. Works amazing, and I ride down gravel every day I go to work and I ride to work every chance I get, so my black cases can get nasty quick, I can wipe the gravel dust right off or hose it off and it looks better than it did when it came off the show room floor. It actually dries so the dust and grime doesn't stick. Only downside is that it smells like baby powder and old ladies so my bike stinks for a few hours until the scent dissipates.

This is with 1 application and 2500mi of riding. Wiped gravel dust off a few times with a crappy microfiber and waterless wash.

I've thrown all the armor all products I had away. Poor product line IMO. The tire shine actually dries the rubber of the tires out, and holds dirt and dust like nothing else, along with turns the sidewalls on my truck tires brown. Any of the interior and plastic stuff is the same too. It doesn't actually dry, feel it, it's greasy just grabs on to dust grime. Not something I'd want on my engine case, and it evaporates from engine heat leaving leaving the dust and such to turn grayish after a few weeks when it all has evaporated.

It's just the MoCo's version of S-100 except cheaper (per oz). I've used both. The Harley stuff works just as good and the can is 2 1/2 times larger so I don't have to buy it near as often.

Just walk on over to your can of WD-40, pick it up, spray it on your black parts. It will smoke like hell when it warms up the first time but the black will look new when its done.

Ya been there,in addition, the cases picked up every piece of dust they could. No more WD-40 for me.

Thumbs up

Y'all are living in the dark ages. I ain't saying S100 is not great stuff and yes it works awesome. Not only the engine brightener but everything they make. But I spend 10-11 bucks a can and only clean my engine once. Buddy turned me on to Ultra Luster Tire & Trim Cleaner. Never even used it to clean anything other than my engine. At 20 bux a bottle you can clean your engine many many times. Spray it on, start and warm engine, then watch the dirt and grime smoke away.
