I was messing aroundtrying to take out the baffles, damn things wont come out. I can't even get the endcaps off!!

I would imagine that they are ceased together so I'll spray some PB in there or something and let it sit overnight.

Default baffle removal

not really sure which bassani exhaust I have on the bike, I do like the looks of it though. The sound is alittle too quiet for my taste, it does have some bark while giving it throttle and letting off of it. From reading posting it seems like it will sound pretty good with them removed and can unpack it some as well. Only concern is if I dont like it is putting the baffles back in.

I just picked up my 03 Road King Classic Thursday after having the 1800-1364 +P Bagger Stepped True-Duals With Power Curve B1-Style Muffler Chrome/Black End Caps put on. Brought it home without the baffles and it sounded awesome. But the low end and mid range torque was horrible. I cut the packing off the baffles and installed them, bear metal sounds great and returned the torque. Loosen the nut on your caps first then screw the bolt out. Shouldn't give you any problem loosening after that.

Do you guys think taking out the packing that it will work with a Bassani 2-1 exhaust?
