No, my bike out the door was $18,221.00 once I added the goodies the price went up.

 

You should always spell that out. I always thought POS stood for something else.

 

I purchased my 2007 POS 2 months ago.I talked with elkridge harley. Have to say they were too high and would even haggle when it came to the POS bike. There attitude was this is the price take it or leave it. That attitude did not sit well with me!!! Even if it is the truth, I cannot stand that attitude. After all you are still spending$ 20,000 for a bike. The best place to buy a harley is by far Mike Famous Harley Davidson in symeria DE.(Two hours away for me)Ask for Greg!! They openly admit who their toughest compition is with price. Told me to shop around and they would still bee any price and they did. Also got a 7 year warranty for what other dealers want for the 5 year. Good Luck!!!!!!!!

 

I know how you feel. Believe me I am not pushing anyone to buy from Elkridge HD. I wanted to buy my bike from Annapolis HD. They have a better customer relations. However, I got a bill of sale from Annapolis and took it to Elkridge. I told them if you can't beat this deal, I'm buying from Annapolis. Elkridge beat it. The clothing sales people are good, the parts guys are good, the service people stink and motorcycle sales guys stink except for one person. My salesman used to work wear I play golf. So he treated me OK. When I get my bike serviced I go to Annapolis HD. I didn't like how the service guys from Elkridge treated me. I guess I was lucky when I ordered my bike.

Baggersam I'm with you. Have you heard of eastern performance off of 450. They quoted my a 1st service 1,000 mile with redman synthetic oil for $ 255.00. All of hey HD Dealers wan $ 350.00 or more any Ideas?

 

Eastern Performance is offering a great deal. Especially with the synthetic. I just had the 1,000 mile service done at Old Glory in Laurel and they charged me $306.00. I wish I would've thought about Eastern.

 

Find a police department that is hiring, process with them, go through the police academy for 6 months and pass the probationary period. Then you can take your ID to your local Harley Dealer and you can order a POS Ultra Classic. What a person won't do to get a harley. LOL

 

you can also join a paying Fire dept and get a fire bike, one color choice but a utlra or road king all the same.
