Default road king engine guard

can someone tell me if there is a difference between 08 and earlier and 09 and later oem engine guards? found a good deal on ebay and wasn't sure whether an 09 flhx and 04 rkc use the same oem bar.
thanks
Jim

Different. You will need a 97-08 engine guard.

For future reference there are on-line parts websites that can help with such queries. I use this one.
