Default EBAY tourpac (pics now)

Finally got my tourpac today that I got off ebay, its been over 2 months, but thats another story. I have to admit that I was a bit scared, but my RK is Vivid Black and the black HD copy pac is a near perfect match the RK. A few more buys and Momma will be MUCH happier on the back.

How is the quality of the tour pack? Appear well made?

Ok, heres some pics

The quality is pretty good, its made of fiberglass and is lighter than a stock tourpac. You can see that the dip in the lid for the nameplate isnt there. I need to fab a bottom support/mounting bracket and add an inner steel plate for additional stiffining, but for $200 and I dont have to paint it, it works for me.

I have emailed them time and again to ask if they have it available in black pearl. They don't yet. But maybe with the rise of black pearl sg out there, they might. I just don't want to go through the added expense or time to buy one and get it painted.

Are you going to mount it with the tour pack mounting that MoCo puts out? Or did it come with one? Let us see it once you get it mounted, I have been toying with this as well. Man, I have so many things I want to buy, I gotta get a second job!! lol

I put on of these on my RK a year ago. For $110, it's worth it. It is no way near as nice as the stock HD tourpak, but it works. I used the HD detachable mount. It keeps stuff dry, it's comfortable to lean on for the passenger, and the color matches.
