If you put a Weber Bar-b-que back there it would serve double duty.

police stroker -- I had the same vibration problem with my tour pak. I added the rubber door guard for trucks that you can buy at most auto parts stores and that fixed the problem.

Police stroker, Got back from the ride too late for pics last night but I did get my first hailrline crack in the cover where the luggage rack bolts through, just like one of the other members posted. Now I'm regretting putting the damn thing on! I'll save my pennies us and try and get a real H-D tour pak. Will try and get those pictures of the gasket posted this week.

One more pic. By the way, the VIP emblem is easily removed.

OK, I got the same pak off ebay along with most of the other parts needed. I ordered all the hinges and lock from Harley. Every thing fine until I found out the the rivets that hold the hinges on needed a special tool to install. I called Harley and was informed that the tool cost around $400.00. My dealer was nice enough to tell me bring all my parts in and thay will put it togeather for me. I was very relieved to hear this. I was not looking forward to drillingfiberglass.Long story made short, By having Harley do all the installing of the parts I ended up with a great looking Pak whick came in around $500.00 under what it would of cost from Harley.

Anymore pics?? I'm still gathering parts needed for my install. Did you install the steel plate on the inside of the pack?

In lieu of rivets, the hinges can be installed with chrome/stainless screws, washers, nuts and locktite.
