Now that I got a Daymaker, I'm thinking of selling it...

Maybe you could sell it then. I have the Reflector with no driving lights and it works fantastic....I'll never go back. It is also easily seen during daylight hours which was equally as important to me for safety reasons.
I was riding up from Key West to Marathon this past Monday night. The roads across the islands are pitch black dark at night and I could really see the benefit of the LED's. they lit up the road and beyond both shoulders on low beam. High beam just made even brighter what was already illuminated. Believe it or not, the Key deer are a big concern at night between Key West and Marathon. And you'll get crucified if you hit one!

The HD Reflector is also visible to traffic during daylight hours far better than the TL which was a safety concern for me since most of my riding is during the daylight hours.

Lots of mixed input but I have to agree with a couple suggestions. First make sure it is aimed correctly. Next the running lights make a huge difference. My opinion is a mixed bag as I had the Daymaker on my Road Glide that took a dirt nap a couple months ago but was a night and day difference over stock. On my Road King I first had just the Truck Lite headlight and the wow factor was greatly appreciated. When I added the running lights the side of the road view really helped tremendously. Night rides are now actually enjoyable and I often stay out late just because I can see so much better.

I use this one. Stupid amounts of light, but totally not DOT legal. Still, it lights up the road quite well. You also need a 12 dollar ceramic plug to withstand the extra heat of a bulb almost twice the power of the stock 55/60. Twenty bucks total. A set of ten dollar 896 bulbs in the spots add a bit of extra light as well.

Using any of those "plug and play" high intensity bulbs is a recipe for disaster. The electrical system is designed to draw a certain amount of amps through those wires. You start increasing that, you run the risk of burning up an electrical harness.
You could have saved yourself some heartache if you would have just done some research on that particular light. Many say the pattern is narrow and concentrated. I've even seen some good videos.
I have the LED reflector with LED reflector driving lights. I absolutely love it.

I can't understand spending so much for LED's unless you're into the look of the lamp.

I disagree completely. I've been buying bulbs like these H4's for years http://www.ebay.com/itm/H4-9003-HB2-...3ffdb6&vxp=mtr and they last about a year (I ride about 20K miles a year). The Super White 5000K are much brighter than stock - the 6,000's are a tinge blue but these are plenty bright. Add along some brighter 896 bulbs for the spots and you are good to go. These run $5 each shipped and I just keep an extra in the bag.
