Default RE: true duals on 07 ultra?

I had Rinehart TD's on my 06 Ultra Classic and just replaced them with the stock headers and SE 65115-98b mufflers. Reason for replacement was mainly due the the Rinehart's being too loud. The new mufflers are just right. Nice growl but not excessive, to my ears, like the Rineharts. A plus was that I could not believe the additional torque that returned in my motor after the switch. I can definately feel it at all RPM's... Don't know if it was the PCIII map or what but there is a definate difference over the TD's.

Ok, new to the forum, so bear with me, Please.

How about Rinehart True Duals, Sert and Stage One Air Cleaner on a 06' Ultra for $1100 Dealer Installed? Did I do Ok? Does it seem like a good Price? Just waiting for the Sert like everyone else. If I posted this in the wrong area, forgive me. Just curious...Thanks for your understanding...
That sounds like a smokin deal to me.

Default Also looking to do true duals

I'm not worried about the loss in power. My 07 already has the stage one kit done. But I want to get rid of the rear cross over pipe as it's hot as heck and I don't like it. Will I need a tune after I put true dual headers on? Any recommendations for a loud and throaty set of mufflers? This is my first go a putting upgrades on a bike. I had an 04, that had true duals and I liked the feel heat wise.

There is nothing unique about the '07 that needs to be addressed when going with a true-dual setup, but as you would expect, there are differences between brands.
I had a set of Rinehart TD's on my bike for 4+ years and I was happy with them until I had to service my primary and discovered that the left pipe ran in front of the top rear bolt of the primary cover.
This meant removing the rear exhaust to get the primary cover off.
Once removed I found the exhaust had been rubbing on the upper corner of the cover and damaging the chrome.
A replacement primary cover was $100.

A buddy gave me a set of Bassani true-duals and I haven't missed the Rineharts for a second.
The Bassani's have a deeper, throatier sound, & they are much bigger diameter than the Rineharts that I had.
Also, IMO anyway, they have far better routing of both the front and rear headers and they feel 'sturdier'.

The best vender around for their prices/support/ and expertise is Fuel Moto, there are a few good options, with an 07 you don't have a catalytic converter to deal with but it might be a good time to get rid of that rear cylinder Y pipe, and FuelMoto can sell you a number of tuners to get you what you need. They'll also send you a preloaded map for your mods, AND they'll be there for you, to help you through the install.
