Default Taillight removal

I have a 2006 Street Glide, I would like to remove the tail light and convert or replace the turn signal bar to act as the brake light, turn signal like the 2010 and later. Is there a wiring harness converter?

I have an 08 SG. One thing I don't care for on the newer models is the lack of rear lighting. I changed my tail light to LED type for more visibility. I also have the turn signals converted to brake lights also. JR

I believe the op is trying for the later model Street Glide look and needs wiring information.

If you remove tail light you'd have big square hole in rear fender to deal with. If want more light in back look at Custom Dynamics Plasma rods or BAL LED taillight.

I plan to cover the hole during the painting. I'm trying to delete the the tail light and use the bar light and the tri light as brake lights.

Ok if you're willing do body work & paint you may be able to do this. Your gonna need '10 up bar light, '10 up fasica light with brake light((67774-10) and wiring harness that exits fascia light to under seat where it connects. The bar light plugs into the fascia light on '10 up. I am not sure if "10 up fascia light will fit in your fascia it may just don't know. If all above works the '10 up harness from fascia light to plug under seat will need some modification. You'll need to replace the connector on '10 up plug end that connects under seat. It's pretty easy just have match to current harness plug and match color for color. I have pn's if you need them for connector & pins.
