Default 2007 Wheels on a 2011

I have a chance to pick up a set of wheels 21 front 16 rear coming off a 2007 SG. How hard will it be to get these on my 2011.

New hub and bearings? or is there more to it than that.
Thanks

I'd get in touch with Hogpro and find out what all you will need to get them to work on your bike. Assuming they are aftermarket wheels?

The front should be able to work because the front ends are the same. The widest rear on an 07 should be a 4.25" wheel. Your 11 comes with a stock 5.5" wheel. It would look a little smaller is my guess with the info give in the original post.

The '07 wheels are both 3" rims and have 1" bearings, while your bike has 25mm. The rear hub isn't wide enough to fit in your swingarm and won't work! There is also no tyre available to fit it that will compare with your stock rear tyre's load rating. The front can be made to work.

The rear wheel will not work as the 09 and up bikes have a cush drive for the belt pulley which is parts of the hub as opposed to the 07 which utilizes a bolt on belt pulley. Widths are also different between 07 and 09 on the rear wheel meaning that a stock 16x3 is 2" narrower than the rear wheel on 09 and newer bikes. Si there a way to make it work? Maybe. Is it worth the time or hassle? Not really in my opinion. All that to run a skinny 150 tire on a bike that comes with a 180.

Front wheel should work with a bearing and crush tube swap or a front axle swap.
