Factory download options
Hello I recently purchased a 2014 ultra limited and install SE slip on exhaust pipes. I've had several hd bikes prior were I had replaced complete exhaust, air filter, SE runner. On this bike I'm not wanting to change a lot the slip on makes the bike sound a lot better but what's everyone doing about the air cleaner? Leaving it stock? The bike runs good 34 mpg so far only have 5k on the bike. Does the dealership have a factory down load if I were to upgrade the air cleaner with the pipes? Has anyone had success performance wise after a download? Dealer suggest race runner & dyno about $750.00.

there are also other products for tuning compensation- it depends how complex you want to get.
It could be with a dealer product that you have less adjustability- you may be married to them if adjustments are desired or needed if you change anything.
BUT your air cleaner flows better than the 13 and earlier version- about 190 CFM ( the screaming eagle and Ness big sucker ( I use) flow about 250).
You may be just fine with the stock air cleaner housing, but I would suggest a filter upgrade an oiled, washable filter like K&N.
