Default D&D baffle removal

So I had D&D fat cats on street glide, removed them to put on Ultra Classic. I love the sound of them, but was wondering if anyone has removed baffles on these pipes and was it a lot louder afterwards? I can tolerate them being a little louder. Thanks

I've changed baffles in them, I can attest that they are pretty difficult to get out. I've didn't run one without the baffle though so I can't attest to the sound. I would have to assume you would lose torque though.

Agreed... you would probably lose torque..

I assume that you have the louvered baffle. If you want more sound, switch to the 2.5 inch Big Bore baffle (still might lose some torque). The louvered baffle is 2.25 in diameter (less if you factor in the louvers). If you removed the baffle completely you would effectively be going from a 2.25 pipe to a 4 in pipe.

I have the 2.5 in (wrapped) big bore baffle and it is VERY LOUD..... Ear ringing loud. In fact, Some of my friends complain about it....

You can see the difference in the two baffles on the D&D web site
