It is not a bad job at all it you have everything that you need on hand. Grinding the case to clear the rotor was a little touchy but not a big deal as long as the grinder does not get out of control. Make sure you have a T-70 Torx socket and a new gasket. I did also replace the HD primary chain tensioner with a Baker attitude manual adjuster. I think that was money well spent. My bike has never cranked or shifted as good as it does now. Stay on the forum and you will be fine.

Purchased mine at San Jose Harley. I did not even think you could purchase the spring pack separately, I personally would purchase the whole assembly.

I have a 2009 Ultra classic. The rotor would not pull off without grinding the lip from the inner primary. Not much but 9:00 to 6:00 had a small lip that needed to be removed. It took 10 minutes to burr it off and 20 minutes to tape off the clutch area. Glue cost about $25 but Harley would not sell it and it is a one time shot so what the heck. The way it changed my bike made it all worth it.

The H-D part numbers for the adhesive and applicator are 11100088 and 11100075 respectively. At one time they were available for purchase through a dealer but I don't think they are anymore. Might check some of the online 20% off dealers and see if any still do.
Alternative is to take the cover and plastic funnel to your friendly local dealer and pay them to install the funnel.
