I'm 55 years old and still have two young sons at home, 8 and 13. After 29 years of marriage and raising nothing but boys, 8 to 28, I dont sweat the small stuff. I consider myself lucky that it was just a windshield and not another one of the boys putting the car in drive instead of reverse....Should have seen that mess! Lol. My Bride was upset enough for both of us! Boring house where that fly is concerned...

I second an attempt with Meguire's Scratch X. I accidently got some paint overspray all over my bike when it was new. It felt sticky and dull. I tried everything I had (and thats alot) Nothing made a difference. Someone suggested Scratch X to me. I gave it a try first time I got about 80%. Second time I got it all! Followed that with a rewax and she looks new again....might be worth a $10 bottle?

.......... u sound like the guy that survives a nuclear attack and upon regaining consciousness loudly proclaims, "it could have been worse, it could have been a bigger bomb!". As they say in Oz, 'good on ya mate' for always trying to see the glass half full. ha!

My wife would've never done that. She'd have to get off her broom first.

You didn't shake out a polishing rag before you used it and that's your wife's fault? Interesting perspective.
