Default Micro Fiber Ugh!

Stupidly was looking for a vibration in my tailpipe and touched a hot pipe with the microfibre. Not a pretty sight. Thank goodness it is on the underside of the pipe. Any suggestions for removal?

it's polyester.

don't use anything metal ( like steel wool) to scrape or you'll marr your pipes.

a wooden scraper, warm it with a blow dryer- get the worst of it off that way

to save bandwidth, there was another thread on this the other day- read through that.

Use a penny to scrape it off. It's softer than chrome and won't scratch

I'd be careful with oven cleaner around my bike. I'd not have believed it if I hadn't seen it myself.

I dropped my textile glove on my header pipe & this did the job. Mine was bad & it took about 5 applications applications.

Like was mentioned, don't use any steel pads etc. Nothing metal either & don't fall for the penny BS.
