Default Pleasantly Surprised

Last week, I visited the local customs shop in Denver and had my extended bags and rear fender installed. While I was waiting, the shop manager asked me if I wanted to take one of the bikes out to cruise around in. I think they got tired of me hanging around and watching their every move. Anyways, they lent me a Road King with a 26" front wheel and 14" ape hangers. I was a little nervous riding a bike with that big of a front wheel and ape hangers. After the first turn and stop, I got pretty comfortable on it and was pleasantly surprised on how well it handles the corners and the pot holed filled roads of Colorado. Now, I wouldn't get a 26" on my RG, but I did enjoy the bike and have an appreciation of custom builders that do the job correctly and safely. Not everyone appreciates or likes the current big wheel baggers but it still beats an early 2000's chopper...lol.

I would have been a bit nervous as well, but I love loaner bikes. I will never turn down a offer to ride a new, different kind of bike.

Josh, is a really cool dude and puts out some amazing work! They had issues earlier in the year, but I think they have worked the kinks out and are putting out awesome stuff in a timely fashion...
