I still have the original stock 12" windshield on my Ultra. I am thinking I would like a shorter one so I could see over it instead of through it. I don't have buffeting issues, maybe because I did install the deflector between the forks at delivery. With the lowers, I don't see a need for fork deflectors. My friend's Kawasaki Nomad has them, and he says they really help with buffeting.

I'm 5'8" and ride slouched so I am reluctant to buy a 10". It may still be too tall to see over. Anyone have a recommendation for me?

Im 5'9 and with an 8.5 i look over the windshield. But i ride more upright. I think you should be good with a 7 or 8 inch.

I bought about 3 windshields before i got the right one. Id just by used until you find the right one.

u need the 6.5 to look just over the top. im 6'1 and i have the 8.5 kw and its perfect. i hated looking thru the windshield. i had it gone in a week. kw windshield was the first thing i purchased for my ultra

try a LRS flat top, you'll love it.
Mine is a 8inch flat top. I got the 8inch because of my wife. My glasses never move.
