I do wear ear plugs, i have the molded ones!. but the reverb from the pipes and the helmet seem to amplify it. I have a love/hate thing with ear plugs. They should help, but it seems when I wear them, my ears ring more after a ride than when I don't. Thought about going to a shorty helmet and keeping the plugs, but I ride pretty hard and like the protection of the 3/4..........

 

I'm retired, still riding since a teenager. I hope you're using ear plugs?!
