Has anyone tried a color keyed inner fairing? I just purchased an '06 Street Glide in Black Cherry and was thinking of buying the Black Cherry inner fairing. How do you think it will look?

 

I saw the new SE Ultra with the painted inner fairing, it looked sweet. Big improvment over the matte black. I've been thinking about vivid black for my seirra red EG Classic.

 

The color keyed inner fairing really looks good. Add to that the white faced gauges and it is even better. The combo is just more pricey than I am willing to do.

So would you suggest going with a Black Cherry inner fairing to match the bike or something like a Vivid Black?

 

mook, obviously this is a personal choice, but the SE EG's like mine have the color keyed inner fairing...because my bike is orange and black the inner is vivid black.... i love it...i have seen the 05 SE EG in yellow and also the blue....the inners were yellow on the yellow and the darker blue on the blue one...i thought the yellow was horrible and the blue was just ok....i have not seen the dark red, but the vivid black is very nice.

 

R U crazy? you can paint you inner for about $20.00 Why would you buy a new one? It's a real easy removal.

 

I think it would look awesome and I am considering doing the same on my Cobalt Blue '06 Street Glide. I do think the darker colors look better when this is done and have seen the black cherry and vivid black done already on dressed up Electra Glide's...really sharp!
