Default Hidden Antenna

Just purchased the retro radio kit and want to get a hidden antenna. I'm thinking of making my own. Does anyone have any ideas or has fabricated their own hidden antenna?? I suppose you could use the old coat hanger trick. A while back someone posted on this subject and they used plain old electrical wire. It's not rocket science, but I would appreciate any ideas.

I was reading a thread the other day, not sure if it was on this forum, where someone just bought the stubby antenna from a local autoparts store. The same ones alot of guys put on their tourpacks. He zip tied it in his fairing. Said it worked great.
