Just keep the old pipes and if you need warrenty work done put them back on and deny ever replacing them.
They can't prove you did.

This is also why I kept all my stock parts. Let the legal department prove I changed something they've never seen.

I emailed my dealer with the same question. It's a good way to get it in writing without asking for it. They said the pipes are not covered but they would not affect the warranty. It may be different if you do the install yourself.

So change it out and keep the originals and if something goes wrong put the OEMs back on before you take it in for warranty.

Sorry should have read all the posts...advice was given before my post....still sound advice though.
