HD fenders are made out of real metal and are easily repairable.... I did my front on the 2003 using the old school hammer, dolly, pick and file method, no bondo on the panel, just primer , base coat (99U Vivid Black) and clear.

I could fix that fender all day long... in about an hour, plus paint time.


If you can find an undamaged one for short $, then spray it, but a repair/respray is going to run 300 bucks

 

That will buff right out, lmao.. Like someone suggested above, look on fleabay, you will be surprised whats out there.

 

Agree with Neggy. That's about a $300 repair, including paint, from your trusted local body/paint shop. That's the route I would go unless you can luck up and find a cheaper (undamaged) take-off the same color.
