Default Just Exhaust????

I have a set of V&H 2 into 1 touring pipes that i'd love to throw on my scoot however, I do not have the funds to get a Stage 1 AC and a tuner yet. How bad would it be just running the 2 into 1 without the other two? Should I just wait it out until I return from my deployment? Thanks!

Throw it on there and ride.If you're OK with the way it runs leave it alone, if not get some XIEDs,VIEDs or the tuner of your choice at some later date.

Leave them on the shelf until you have the means to get a tuner.

You won't have any problems or issues if you put the pipes on by themselves. If you plan on installing a free flowing A/C on at a later date then you'll need some kind of remap or tuning device to enrich the Air to Fuel ratio.

It's running lean stock and will run leaner. If you were changing to slip ons I'd say go for it but I'd wait on the tuner since you're changing the head pipe. When I changed my head pipe and slip ons I rode a couple miles without the tuner and it ran like crap.

Read this guys post, and then ask yourself if a bike running the way it should will turn a muffler gold....

I don't stand to make a nickel, I'm merely trying to help.

There is a reason I will not buy a used bike for my primary ride...
