Default Rode to Lake Lure, NC today

Nice beautiful ride today but it did rain good on the way back. Unfortunately, the leaves didn't fully change this week. That only means, we gonna go back next weekend. Next weekend, I'll post some better pics. I gotta tell you, a nice ride with the loved one on beautiful roads makes one forget about all the B.S. that comes with life.

The Lake Lure Spa. Um, since I was dumb enough to stop near it, I'll have to pay for a day there. Doh!!!

That's Chimney Rock. We were going to hike it but decided to wait until the leaves start changing.

Nice spot to sit back and collect ones thoughts

That's mean ol' Mr. Jack-o-Lantern telling us to kiss his big ol' orange...

Seeing that smoke, I had to stop for some BBQ. Um, I think my pork taste better. But I'm biased.

That ugly mug is me and my fair OL

By next week, all that green will be red...to be continued...
Thanks for looking!!!

Thanks for sharing kryingame. Was at that inn last week end at a friend's wedding. Went apple picking next day up a ways on 64. Nice area for riding.
