Default Finally did my breather bypass (pics included)

Well after taking a look inside my TB I decided I really needed to vent the breathers to atmosphere. Here's what the TB inside looked like:



There was oil caked inside my TB that needed to be sprayed down. There was no cost effective way to do a bypass and the aftermarket options left me wanting. So, I read-up, explored my options and decided to drill and tap hose barbs to my AN Big sucker.
I used a 11/32 drill bit with a 1/8-NPT-27 tap to thread my holes and install these:




Here's how it turned out:






It was long overdue and glad I finally did away with crancase BB being sucked into my TB.

Ive got the end of the hose coming down just before the cross-over to the left slip-on.

You must have excessive blow by, I would figure out the cause of that.

Hey TUCCI what did you use to block the drain tubes on the AN?

I used black RTV, I cut the tip off the end and stuck it in the little hole and squeezed till some came out the other side.

I wouldn't say the mess was excessive, mine looked very similar before I went with the Kury Corsair set-up. There is enough pressure to run the hoses up and over and have gravity do the rest. The Kury kit had a Y connector which installs over the top of the TB, I used braided SS hose down along the frame to just below the bottom of the drive belt.
It's been over 2 years with no problems and a clean TB!

Good deal. I figured that's what you did. Gonna do this to mine soon as well.

Just did a very similar mod to my CVO A/C. It is similar to the SE Ventilator A/C. Instead of venting to the ground, I vented to a crank vent breather I found on EBay for cheap money. It is almost a perfect match to the K&N air filter, and it is washable.

is it the chrome filter in between your push-rods?

excellent work TUCCI!

Here's what a bike with just 9k on the clock looked like last week when I pulled the heads to replace them just in case you want to see what that crap does to the inners of your motor. Enough of this build up will also throw off your tune.
