Finally did my breather bypass (pics included)

Ahhhhh, yes! Assuming that water strainer is sealed.
There are one way valves in the heads that are designed to let contaminated gases pass out of the engine and into the air cleaner to be burned off (stock). Doing what you did , you might as well just plug the heads, which is a bad idea! My guess is, that you will begin to develop oil leaks in short order. With a pre screw in dipstick, you may find it missing some day as the crankcase pressure goes up. The up and down movement of the pistons is what necessitates the need for a breather. It lets some of the pressure in the crankcase, cam case and oil pan vent and pushes the oil vapor and some products of combustion and blow by out as well.

Head...
I see this thread is a few yrs old already but, if still active, I'm in the middle of fitting up the same exact setup note-for-note on my '04 Wide Glide stock TC88 and would like to ask what brand breather you have hanging on there. I like the look of it. It's the only thing left that I need to buy (in chrome if possible).
Also, those are the exact spring clips I'm looking for. Did you get those at Advance Auto Parts too? I bought some similar but they're too big (the part you grab with the pliers) to fit inside the recess for the nipples on the ends of the breather bolts.
Thanks very much,
Spacehog

Tc breather
Well after taking a look inside my TB I decided I really needed to vent the breathers to atmosphere. Here's what the TB inside looked like:
There was oil caked inside my TB that needed to be sprayed down. There was no cost effective way to do a bypass and the aftermarket options left me wanting. So, I read-up, explored my options and decided to drill and tap hose barbs to my AN Big sucker.
I used a 11/32 drill bit with a 1/8-NPT-27 tap to thread my holes and install these:
Here's how it turned out:
It was long overdue and glad I finally did away with crancase BB being sucked into my TB.
Ive got the end of the hose coming down just before the cross-over to the left slip-on.

Just recently did mine. The 03 already had barb fittings/ stock. Plumbed them into a 1/4 barbed plumbing tee and attached a ss icemaker line down and out the back. Ran my line down the front side to join with the ss oil pressure line then used ss zip ties. You know me, the shiner the better
