Just finished with finial mods by changing down vent from hose to 1/4 SS.

Changed from the photo 3/16 to 1/4 hose. Down hose fitting changed to 1/4 SS tubing

Has anyone thought or tried to weld a bung on the lower inside of exhaust pipe and running it into there so anything that comes out just gets burnt off. I know back when we were young in the 70's we would run our PCV valve lines down into a steel line that we had welded onto the collector on our headers on our street rods. That was better then running them into the intake manifolds.

That pill container catch can is cool, I am going to make one.

I was wondering if you get any oily vapor on the engine?

what about collecting rain water?

I am thinking about putting a piece of foam filter in the upper compartment, and the holes drilled on the side.

I did a lot of work (exhaust) (removing rattle), last item was th breather bypass....well the oem bolts are brass and did not move when I attempted to remove and replace with the dk set up......well it wasn't going to happen with the tools I have so the project is shelved until I can get me or another better qualified wrench on it...........I'm not ashamed when I know I'm outwitted by a damn bolt.

Did mine. Drilled and tapped the heavy breather. DK customs catch can.

Finally did mine. Used some rubber hose with a 90 degree bend. Ran down to the small breather filter below. Might put a catch can in place of the filter. It's a screamin eagle backing plate and the breather bolts are 1/2 inch longer bolts made by kuryakyn. Can't really see it behind the stock cover.
Haven't tested it out yet because it's been cold and raining the past 4-5 days here in DFW Texas.

Yeah, best to use catch can or route to ground. I do each way on my 2 bikes. M8 Has catch can that I have to empty. V-rod just routes to ground.
