Yeah I read but maybe I didn't understand.

There are several similar but different solutions. Most work well.
I will say a previous poster sealed his up tight and blew rocker gaskets. I was wanting to clarify to keep you from doing something similar.

Checked my breather today. Probably about 4000 miles since the last time I checked. I definitely should not have waited so long. There was a relatively large amount of oil in it and I did not have a bowl to catch the oil. I would estimate the breather body was about half full.

Before I installed the breather I had oil dripping onto my exhaust at the end of each season. I believe the bike has done this since new. I will ask my Indy to put a little less oil in when they change it this winter and from now on I will check it every 2000 miles.

My Breather Setup

Just think...all that oil would have been going into your throttle body and crusting up your pistons and valves!

btw, can you get to your dipstick with that system in place?

this barb requires no clamp when used with the proper hose, be sure to push it on all the way

one year later not a drop of oil in the AC and the hose still on as tight as the day I assembled them, WITHOUT hose clamps

there really isn't any pressure on the hose, if anything wind turbulence.....but thats a nice clean way for sure.

That's is one reason why I do not use clamps. The other is, if the engine does build pressure due a blocked hose (my got kinked by a tie-wrap under the frame) the hose will blow off to relieve the pressure.

Just ordered the Stealth kit from DK. This is why this forums is so great. Lots of great information from fellow members. This oil spilling all over the side of the bike has always bothered me, I didn't know what it was doing to the inside of my motor. It's nice to know that my new motor will never have this oil mist blown into it. Thanks to all.
