Thanks for the reply. But I understand that a dealer-installed stage 1 will not have any impact on my warranty.

What I'm asking, is, if I go drilling holes in the breather and installing a bunch of home-made plumbing, will THAT effect my warranty?

Thanks,
Brad

what we are doing IS considered illegal (according to the epa), That being said any dealer not wanting to ''hide'' from the feds will scrap said warrantee in a heartbeat, jmho.

Bradn, you should not have to drill holes or run "plumbing" inside the air cleaner. You should be able to route down from breather bolts and plug the holes in backing plate with plastic body plugs or RTV from the back side. There are several methods to route and stay outside the "box"

I agree. That what I did. Just don't forget the hole in the filter that the hose used to go in. I used hi temp RTV.

Maybe it's just me, but I am not a fan of the uphill turn/run
Much like my dryer vents - nothing but downhill the entire way.

any pressure left over after the umbrella valves do there thing...which is next too nothing imho....means (too me) a downhill journey would be the best as well.....

So I bought a USB Endoscope camera and this is the carbon buildup in my front cylinder of my 2011 FXDC.

An this is the rear cylinder.

Here are some pictures...

Not looking that good... I'm glad the Mopar combustion chamber cleaner got at the same time of the camera, but it sucks that I changed my oil like 500 miles before

Thanks. I don't have my new bike yet. It's a '17 RGU and is currently in, but getting a stage 1 done. I'll look at the intake assembly once I get it home.
