Finally did my breather bypass (pics included)

The stock setup will actually have a negative pressure caused by the intake which pulls the crankcase air out as opposed to venting to atmosphere. You'll here about guys saying that when they open the oil cap right after shutdown, they hear air being drawn in. That also means that the umbrella valves are working well too. I had that happen once when it was brand new.

A constructive critique: I am not a fan of a "T" between the 2 lines from the breathers. They will compete with each other. I would prefer a "Y" in place of the "T" If you ran the tubes inside out as you did and on the outside of the stand offs, then out the backing plate and both tubes extended to the ground, it would only have 2 tubes through and out, no risk of ingestion. The tube (tubes) extending below the bike should be angled to the rear to create a draft across the end of the tube. My 2 cents.
That advice is right on target.

I am sorry gents but I don't understand what to do with the stock breather bolts...
Wont oil still blow through into the airbox even with a bypass?
I have a screaming eagle ventilator style air cleaner and just noticed small oil driping onto my exhaust and on pushrod covers.
Photos would be nice.

Welcome aboard! Go to the first page of this thread and you'll see a great write-up and pics of the process. Also there are additional tips that others have added. I followed this when I did my bike and it came out great. I did opt to vent below the bike vs. a filter or catch-can. Good luck!

I copied this almost to a TEE for my ventilator and it's been great since.

Super Clean set up you built!
Just to clarify, we have air cleaners that have the external breather system built in for as little as $148.95, and we have a variety of external breather systems that work with many other air cleaners besides ours. They range in price from $29.95 to 49.95.
You can see them all HERE

that'll work.....To me it's not a crap ,blow by issue, it's just a pure horsepower mod. crank case air is a higher temperature than outside air, warming the incoming air, cool air adds horsepower even if it's just a minor increment, it's still an increment in the right direction
It is the oxygen in the air, combined with gasoline that burns, creating power.
With the blow-by air being mostly exhaust gasses that have pushed past the rings, you have air that has little oxygen in it, taking the place of air that could have oxygen in it, thus reducing power.
Another factor is that when the crap builds up on the pistons it changes the compression ratio, meaning that the tune that gave the optimum power prior to the carbon build-up, that tune is no longer optimum for change in compression ratio. This also results in a loss of power.
Below is a chart showing the difference in an engine with/without an EBS.
More charts and info on External Breather Systems can be seen HERE.

You can use this Catch-Can System with the Ventilator.
You can also use either of the two below with the Ventilator. They come with filters, but you can replace them with a Catch-Can if you like.
Option 1
Option 2
