Is that just venting to the atmosphere or is there a filter back there?

Just routed it to backside so it was hidden. From there single hose goes forward than down and under to right side of frame. Pointed away from rear tire. I do run a small gas filter on the end of line. I run on a lot of dirt roads so it just keeps the end of the hose open. Helps to if head breather screws up. But not real important

Ok, thanks. I was thinking about doing something similar to what you did.

Thanks for posting those pics. I will be doing my breather mod in a few days and i think thats the way I will go. Seems simple enough and just hose and connectors will be needed once I put a small hole in the back of the air cleaner.

Seal the hole or you might get air suctioning around that fitting, you want all air going into the TB to be filtered.

Here's an example of one of our breather set-ups that is simple to install, looks good, and works very well. If you really want to increase The Look, substituting our braided steel line for the rubber hose will make a noticeable difference. Just to give you some ideas:

Thumbs up

Look again at your piston tops in a year or so. You'll be amazed at the difference.

I wonder if you could make that work on a stock intake?

On a stock air cleaner assembly? Yes,you could. Lots of people have installed an External Breather System, with excellent results. If you haven't already, take a few minutes to look over these various set-ups.
