I've been running this DIY setup for a couple years.

I even went as far as installing new HD breather assemblies in both heads. Didn't help at all.
longer and higher duration cams will cause this as well. At some point you guys have to realize that getting more oil (or getting more oil faster and under higher pressure) to the top end isn't necessarily an answer to a problem you think you might have.

$280 for lifters? No wonder Bob Wood is so filthy rich!

Do you have a filter on the drain line or just a free drip to outside? Thanks for any info.
I actually had seen Smokey Stovers post last week and decided to do my own version of it on mine.

2 - 1/8NPT to -4 AN elbows
5 - -4 AN swivels
1 - -4 AN Tee
3 ft -4 AN Braided Hose

And I also have a catch can I bought just to see what all it's spitting out. The can was $20 and the AN fittings and hose was about $50 all together shopping around on ebay but I really like the look of it.

Yea, I realize that I probably didn't need to do all that, but I had some extra cash and said what the hell. Im in the cam chest, lets just do it. And now im suffering the oil puking.

Its alright though, I just received my DK Customs breather bypass kit in the mail yesterday.

I just ordered the DK Customs Complete HiFlow 606 Air Cleaner Dyna Softail Touring - Rushmore because I like the stock cover. I am going to try the breather bolts - any thoughts on how much oil will weep out of the bolts?

I had the breather bolts and although they didn't leak anything, they did mist. I got tired of the smell so I ended up routing everything away and behind me.

I'm liking it a lot. After testing I was going to go back to the Premium Discrete, but I've decided to leave this on there.

Is that a small catch can? Or is it just a filter with a chrome cover...

When using the AN fittings, does the fitting replace the breather bolt into the head?

No AN Refers to a fitting if you are going to use threaded connections on the hose versus Hose clamps
Hope that helps

DK has some real nice setups
