Crude drawing but you get the point.

Only issue with that is that filter could still fill with oil and drip
But it would be hidden

unless you've got some pretty significant issues, that filter should not leak oil. Take it off once a month, clean it, put it back on. If you've got enough blow-by to fill a filter with oil, you've got other problems.

Perhaps
I have read several threads that the 110's with the ventilator leaking on the engine. dripping from the filter

I know that my 110 indeed has some blow by.
My 88 on the other hand has virtually no oil in the catchers

yeah now that you mention it, I've read that too. As long as I ran the Ventilator on my 103, never had an issue. Must be the higher compression in the 110 motors causing the extra blow by.

*EDIT*
but then again now that I think about it, the compression I am running with the milled heads, .030 gasket, and cams is higher (10.06:1) than that of a stock 110 (9.15:1). Who knows man.. lol

Merry Christmas to all

I have a 5 PM on a Friday bike...Looking at doing all of this as soon as the filter gets to me today or tomorrow. So freaking annoying. I have the S&S Stealth as well. I had to get the stock bolts from Harley that have the little nipples at the end of them. Do I need to close off the holes in the back plate that are "SUPPOSED" to allow the oil to get sucked back into the TB or because I put the stock nipple bolts back in, oil won't go to the tunnel in the back plate?

Jim there are several ways to approach this but the end result is you want NO oil going back into the throttlebody.

My suggestion is;

Use the S&S bolts that came with the kit.
seal off the holes in the backplate
drill, tap, insert a nipple into each of the 2 legs that mount to the engine heads and attach a hose to each one, then attach those 2 hoses to a filter.

One other piece of advice Jim...if you do as Nutz suggested, be sure when you drill your hole in the rear leg of the plate, make sure you position it so that the nipple will clear the Throttle Control Actuator.

2010 Limited with some stuff

I thought about drilling and tapping but there isn't a lot of room on that particular S&S back plate. I also have a screamin eagle stage one back plate but really love the look of my "Hot Rod" style air cleaner cover on the stealth...
Those stock bolts have the nipples on the end of them and they fit perfectly on this back plate. I figured the bolt would essentially plug the little hole that leads to the chamber (I could also wrap thread tape around the bolt) and the stock nipple would just direct it out to the 7/32 tubes I'll be installing. Not only that but I've never drilled and tapped things like this before...Only the ladies...hahaha!
