Finally did my breather bypass (pics included)

If you run some of chevrons " Techron Fuel injector cleaner (using their concentrated version) in the fuel tank thru the motor 1x or 2x yrly depending on mile ridden it does a good job of not only cleaning fuel injectors or a carb but it also cleans carbon etc from the intake valves , pistons ,and combustion chambers in general too.
Unfortunately doing that wont address the main issue of fouling the air filter ,intake ,or throttle body with oil etc .
I i am seeing the pics correctly its looks as though the original poster of this thread didnt install small cleanable K&N type breather filters which i would do if it was my bike.

The other thing not addressed (for those with performance in mind) is that the hot oily air being introduced into the combustion chambers via the breathers is oxygen depleted... reducing performance.
Besides damaging the engine, besides gumming up the throttle body or carb, besides suffering knock retard as the ECM adjusts for a growing compression ratio, it's just plain bad air for combustion power making purposes.
Take a look at the chart below to see the difference between clean air and hot, oily, oxygen depleted air going into the engine.
Lots of inexpensive alternatives for external breathers....HERE

I like the way CVORoadKing2013 did his breather. Nice and compact and looks great.
Is there any disadvantage to having such a short run to the filter, though? Will the filter have to be cleaned more often vs. running it all the way to the back of the bike?
I'm not trying to be lazy (well, maybe a little). I'm just worried about having to still clean up oil drips from that area.

I'd like to make one like the OP, but use stainless hose and an fittings. I've never messed with an fittings before, but I don't think id have a problem putting together, my problem is knowing what to order. Does anybody know what kind of fittings/connectors I would need. Id like to run it down into a T and then install a small breather on it under my big sucker.

Yes you will risk oil dripping, every bike is different
So you may be a lucky one and not drip much.
Im looking at a catch can
Or maybe even this mounted to the bottom plate of the ventilator (vertically). Like the horizontal filter look , but this will contain the oil

My bike has never dripped oil and below 70mph I do not use any oil. When I get on highways with speeds greater than 70mph the bike will use some oil maybe 2-8 oz over time. Still not enough to drip. I did mine because I do not like the hot gases going back into the intake and I do not want the small amounts of oil going back in either. I am hoping that the bypass will let the motor breath better and with that even at speeds over 70 I will not use any oil.
When i do the next rev I will hang the filter down and make it so I can drain any oil that does accumulate

I'm afraid those small filters will probably need cleaning often, Based on the amount of gunk I collect in my catchcan. it seems like they will become saturated quickly. While searching for the can I saw those filters used in conjunction with the cans, To catch any remaining mist exiting the catchcan. But I didn't have room for one in the the horn cowbell.

Yea
Catch can is my other option.
I also will not have room by the horn, So Im still looking at options.
Im running the joker breathers on my old 88, they work well.
So they fit the bill, for the little that I ride it.
My 110 has a fair amount of blowby, plus I will def be puting miles on the Ultra.
