Me personally don't see the need for such large tubing. there is very little oil/moisture that comes through there in the first place. Use common sense though and don't use weed-eater size fuel line as that will surely clog up and could create other issues in the top end.

too much oil and yes it will contribute to oil in your TB

I did this to my SE intake and works great. Tapped and put couple set screws to close off oil weep holes on intake. Installed two 1/8"NPT x 1/4" barb fittings. Used one 1/'4" T- fitting one 90deg elbow with 1/4"high temp hose and routed to ground.

I only want the filter on the one I showed( right one) it is threaded. I do not want the whole catch can and breather
