Id like to install this on my 2014 Heritage Softail 103 with the Screamin Eagle set up. Will it fit or is it even worth the trouble? I dont see it fittin properly over the round air cleaner but thats just me?

The SE kit for the touring models has a spacer for the new cover.

 

I've seen the spacer and with it I can see the cover fitting straight. My concern is will it fit in far enough to completely cover the air filter or do I need a narrower air cleaner. I only want to get the cover, not the whole package so I can keep my SE backing plate and filter. If I got (assuming I can find one) narrower air filter then Im minimizing the amount of air it can take it and defeating the purpose of doing this. Im going with the 255 SE cam set up this winter, The exhaust is already done so when I get my dyno done I want her to be getting as much air as possible.

 

all you need is the spacer and longer bolt to mount the cover. The se backing plate and round filter will work fine.

 

Im gonna go ahead and get it - I'll post a pick in case some other Softail guys wanna check it out. Thx, Max
