Default Best performing 2-1 exhaust?

Looking for a 2-1 exhaust for my 14 streetglide. Looking for a black one. Have had vance and hines, and a d&d in the past. Are people still liking the ProPipe? What about freedom or rush? Don't know anything about those brands. Thanks for the help.

Most of the ones being mentioned are excellent performers as are Bassani, Thunderheader, RB Racing, etc. Pick one you like the look of and ride on, there is no "best"

What ever brand the person you ask is running. They are all good on street type bikes. Get to the big inch motors then brand plays big part.

Don't rule out FuelMoto either.

I believe most all of your mentioned 2-1 exhaust are going to perform equally as well. I did a lot of research back when i did the engine build (107) on my Street Glide and choose the D&D FatCat. There are some pipes that outperform others (slightly) when doing a big engine build but the differences are small. If you are just doing a stage one then the differences are negligible. Just choose the pipe that looks the best to you and go with it.

Ummm, no. There is a "best" but you'll have varying opinions on what it is.

Based on my circle of friends, by far the best performer is a D&D Boarzilla. Thunderheader X-series is a close second. At lease on big inch motors tuned for all-out performance. One of the local tuners really likes the Supertrapp 2-1. Regular Thunderheaders have a torque dip, same with Bassani.

Really it's about sound, fit and finish. My personal preference is a standard Thunderheader, as I think there isn't a better sounding pipe on the market (and performance is pretty good with the right dyno guy).

I can vouch for the quality of the D&D. I don't think anything else even comes close.

havent seen any head to head test results, but would think the SuperTrapp Supermeg produces the best torque numbers.
