On a couple occasions my 12 Street Glide would not start when I pushed the button. Clutch was inn, run button down and start pushed...but nothing.

Fiddled with the buttons a bit, and all of a sudden it would fire up just like nothing was wrong.

Anything I should look for...loose wires?

Is your clutch in adjustment?

 

Clutch is fine. One time it even failed to start in neutral. (usually start in neutral)

 

Did you check your plugs?
If so, how do they look?

 

check start button and / or relay loose wire connection.
