I find myself in a similar position: bought a Heritage after owning a superlow..was afraid of the weight (older and bad back)....for the heck of it I took a '14 RK out for a test ride....it did feel a bit heavier but not that much - and the ride was so much better than the ST. Will probably trade in for a RK....ah well, live and learn.

 

I hate my '12 RKC
I hate the color
I hate the ABS
I hate the 103 w/ a Stage 1
I hate the security system
I hate the Progressive monotubes
I hate the MCC seat
I hate all my other mods.

...and I hate the fact that I'm such a friggin' liar.

Buy a King. You can't go wrong unless you need a radio or want to drag a knee in the twisties.

 

Like many have stated you can't really go wrong w a 09 or newer RK. My 2010 RK has been a great bike. Just past 30k. Miles of trouble free riding. If I was in the market now, I'd look at getting ABS, the 103 and color u want....u won't be disappointed!!!
