IMHO, the best are both chrome and black. Too much chrome and it all blends together, same as with the black. You need the balance of light and dark to make it work either way.
I am more partial to chrome, but "it ain't cool if the chrome don't shine!"

I've seen some guys mixing a combination of gloss black powder coat with some satin powder parts and some flat powder like the pipes. All three combined gives contrast even amongst black.

All flat looks more like a crew served weapons system and all chrome can get just too blingy. Somewhere in the middle is where I'm aiming.

What is that air cleaner you have and where did you get it? Very original...I like it! You're rubber brake pedal sticks out like a sore thumb in that one pic amongst all of that chrome. Nice job.

I'll remain neutral with the black and chrome. My Nightrain was great but the all black just got boring after a while and had no wow effect. To me too much chrome starts to look cheap.
