I had a 2002 Firefighter RoadKing. Parked it at work and found a deep scratch in the tank the next morning. Bike had less than 500 miles on it. Called dealer to find paint code, they were clueless. Call headquarters, took 3 different calls but was finally told the color was ppg porche guards red.

Had a local ppg paint user mix it up and repaint the bike, perfect match.

Long story short.........HOK or PPG is the way to go.

most good paint suppliers have a meter or camera that they snap a pic and make a formula to mix to
HD will most times sell a single stage paint to you
