Default Trouble with badlands load equalizer?

Anyone ever had these symptoms while running a badlands equalizer? Well, at least that's my first thought on the trouble I've had in the past couple of days....here's what's happening.
Riding on the way home from work on Friday, kicked cruise on & it worked for a minute or so, but then it would stop, but the cruise indicator stayed green. I chalked it up to a pretty big expansion joint hit, & thought maybe it just screwed it up for a little while. So then while riding yesterday, same thing happened, but then when the cruise stopped working my check engine light also came on. The CEL would clear itself after I would turn off the cruise console switch. One other thing I thought was odd with the badlands....normally after turning off the bike, only the flashers flash twice for the security system, but once I installed the badlands, my headlight also flashes with the turn signals.
I also notice radio interference on weaker stations when I engage my signals, annoying, but not a deal breaker.

For reference, I have a 2011 street glide, custom dynamics rear stop/turn red LEDs & dynamic ringz up front & I have the le-03-sr plug & play badlands module.

Sorry, I see this is an old thread, but did you ever find out on your SG what your issue was? I just installed that same Badlands load equalizer and I'm having similar goofy electrical problems. My bike is a 2010 Street Glide.

Thanks -

I have had a Badlands load equalizer in this bike since I got it new and not issues
Its 2013 Raod Glide Ultra.
I also had it in my 2011 Road Glide Custom, It died keeping me and my now wife alive.

Anyway shocks me there is a problem with it.

If cruise is not working check your wheel bearings.... yeah don't ask

Wink

Gentlemen, disconnect your Badlands and see if the problem goes away. If not then it has its origins elsewhere. Electrical gremlins can be a b1tch to solve, so don't hang around, find yourself a local indy to get to the cause of the problem.

Grbrown - I unplugged the Badlands Module and everything returned to factory normal, (I've never had the cruise control malfunction like Shadowbennie), except for the hyper flashing signals. As soon as I plug the in-line module back in, the headlights AND 4 ways flash when my TSSM reactivates. After a start and shut down with the module installed, codes b1123 and b1124 get kicked again, all signals stop working.

I've tried unplugging the battery, reconnecting, and doing the TSSM reset procedure with no success.

Well at least we know that the problem lies with the Badlands or the way it is wired in. It is worth checking with Badlands themselves if the module you have is correct for your bike, also if they can offer any suggestions.

B1123 and B1124 are signals shorted to ground AFAIK.

I'd say likely a bad equalizer module, or somehow wired incorrectly.

As the module is plug and play, maybe the harness is faulty from the manufacturer as it would difficult to actually plug it in incorrectly. I'd say it's a bad module, as others seem to have no issues with it.
