Nope I stop, she gets off and opens door (pushes a button inside garage). Simple.

I also use a spare opener velcroed behind the passenger lower back pad. Maybe change the battery once every two years. Very simple, yet totally effective.

Seems like several on this forum are overthinking the simple task of opening a garage door. All you need is an extra opener, velcro, and your done. Push the button and go riding.

Simple is the best way. That's why the remote lives in the windshield bag.

I replaced my old door opener because it would take me ten minutes to get the door closed when I'm just trying to get out and ride. That's at least ten less miles I can get to ride.

For the price I couldn't beat the Chamberlain. It came with 2 remotes, outside key pad, and the device that lets you use your phone. One remote for the Electra, one for the Softail. Use the phone when in the car, truck, or work van. Save money on the remotes for all the 4 wheeled vehicles. I can also keep tabs to make sure the OL didn't leave the door up when she leaves. Ha ha ha.

Purchased a small remote from my local garage door peeps and I clip it to my belt loop for easy acess when we or I come home on the bike. Reach down, push and you're in.

H-D opener, integrated into the hi-low beam switch. Suites me just fine.

My regular opener fits nice and snug in the Juke Box®...

Only takes a second to reach my finger in and bump the button.

If I get time on days off, maybe I'll do another edition of SafetyMan's Garage© on the complicated install...

Ditto...she can hear me coming (pipes) and has door opening when I pull up. Gotta love a trained woman...
