Now I'm thinking of selling the fairing so I can get a paint job, and some geared cams. Still on the fence.

My vote is for the road king.. Not a fan of fairings and I dont think you'd be happy on a dyna after the touring bike

Just my opinion, and it's worth what it cost you.

I would sell the fairing and go back to the King. Looks much better to me.

I also agree on getting rid of the front fender and going back original on it too. Makes that front tire look HUGE and disproportionate. Again, just my opinion.

I think it looks GREAT like that...

Personally, I wouldn't do anything different...

It is definitely one of a kind, and a damn fine looking machine.

I was looking back, and noticed a lot of the guys that said they preferred the King look... ride Road Kings.

Looks way better with the fender swap, if you are into the roadie look leave the fairing on, should be a lot of room in there for amps

I like the Road Kings too, but if you gotta have a windshield you might as well have a fairing! I like it with the full fender, but I might add a little black paint to it.

Definitely looks better after the fender swap in my opinion. Noticed you put the bag guards back on from your original pic as well.
