Brothers… 15 years apart
Lots of great Road Kings here… Here are my rides; 1999 FLHPI (Police) and 2014 FLHR. Both have Rinehart True Duals among several other upgrades. Both are a ton of fun to ride and like all Road Kings, there is a raw beauty that always renders compliments from a passer-by or the person next to me at the gas pump. Just wondering… I have never seen a tank graphic like the eagle on the 1999. Has anyone else seen this or is it a one-of-a-kind custom?

I picked mine up a couple months ago from an Individual in Georgia. Had 13,400 miles on it when I bought it. It had RCX mufflers, a passenger backrest and a nice aftermarket fairing. Sold the fairing (not fond of them). Added a mini passenger backrest and 2-up stealth luggage rack. Also changed over to Streamliner grips, footboards and pegs. That's enough for me. It's got new tires and a fresh service, so it's ready to ride. Headed for the Rockies in 5 weeks.......got lots of miles left in this 7 year old cycle. I figure about 4,000 miles to the Rockies and back. Glad you like yours - the green with the black is pretty!!

well, I waited for a few months for Howard (may he RIP) to build me a set of Ohlins front cartridges to match my rears, but it never happened so I went ahead and got the Ness Hot Legs fork lowers installed a few weeks ago as my chrome lowers were starting to pit. I'll revisit the front suspension at another time....
