Finally got my 2017 H-D Road King. I am the happiest man on earth right now. I put about 100 miles on the first day she arrived. LOL
And wow the power is amazing and very nice ride.
gonna ride her stock for now until I can decide what to get for upgrades.
As for now I don't think any upgrades are needed. Her Name is Penelope. LOL

Beautiful bike. You can't go wrong with a Road King. It is an everything bike. I bought my 2003 RKC brand spanking new in 2003. I still make a 750 mile ride out to Sturgis every year. The bike is everything I have ever needed in a motorcycle.
Congratulations! I know how you feel about your new Road King.

nice bike indeed. The beach bars look great, are they comfortable? Everyone with apes swears by them, but I'm just not a fan of their looks for my Classic.

I really like the 518's. They aren't as wide as traditional beach bars and have a little more pull back than most. They are also great for leaning into the twisties, whereas I think apes aren't as suitable. However, apes will likely allow for a more upright riding posture (easier on the shoulders/back). I do love the low lines that beach bars give aesthetically.
