I'm a big fan of the hard bags. hoping to get some for my RKC as well. currently having a Hoppe fairing painted to match my anniversary colors and then installed

 

Sweet.... I don't think there's much that needs to be done to a Road King. I'll take delivery of mine in September. The only things I'm planning to add is a GPS, passenger backrest and detachable luggage rack.

I said pretty much the same exact thing when I got my 2013 Candy Orange/Beer Bottle King. I now have added a drink holder, sissy bar with back rest, luggage rack, chrome saddlebag rails, chrome saddlebag lid rails, floorboard extensions, Big Louie slip on mufflers, highway pegs, conversion for brake and signal lights, clear lenses for front signals, GPS, FM antenna (radio coming soon for windshield). I am not done , but I did say there was nothing else to do to the Road King but ride it when I got it. They are all MONEY PITS, and we love it.
Be prepared to go broke brother!!

 

Here is my '13 RKC. A few add ons such as tallboy seat, heritage bars, extended reach floorboards, shifters, rear brake, LED turn signals and rear break light and Screamin Eagle Fatshotz slip ons until I break the bike in and figure out which full exhaust and other engine mods to do. Love it!

 

Yeah, I know. I am going to resist the urge though. I love that Candy Orange / Beer Bottle. I was going to get that, but it is not available on the 2014 Road King. So I am going to get Big Blue Pearl / Vivid Black TwoTone.
