08's have eletric throttle and not cables. They throttle wires have to run through the bar itself.

Nice, nice, job!

I love my Black Cherry.

Question: Are you happy with the results from the Bub/Klock double back?
If so, what did you have on her before the DB?

Thanks!

There are some very nice FLHX's on this site. Mine is an 07 with 21" front and 200mm rear.

Here are a few pics of my 2 week old 08' SG.

I will be keeping my SE-Deuce..its almost at the point where I would call it finished, but I do have some questions about mod's for the SG.

I been thinking about what exhaust I want to put on my 08' SG, and think I have it narrowed down to either the V & H, or Rinehart true dual's. I have no experience with the Rinehart's, but judging from past experience with V&H they do make a quality product. What I am a bit confused on is the intake. I know I would either like to go with the SE intake or the Hypercharger.....I dont know what one gives better performance or what one comes with higher reckomenditations.....or if I have some other choices that would work out better. I have one more question though.....I know I will need to have the dealer down load or is that alone the Screaming Eagle Race Tuner.....or do I need the SERT and a unit like the PCIII. Please forgive my inexperience with the EFI systems, if it was all still where I could just re-jet a carb this would not be necessary. I have read, and read about EFI on H-D's but I am still not 100% sure, and I just dont want to get ripped off by the dealer, or have my warranty voided. I didn't say I plan on having the dealer install the both systems exhaust and intake at or just after my 1000 mi. service. I normally do all my maintenance, but on the brand new bike I figured I would throw the dealer service dept a bone and let them make a few bucks off me, and in the process I can get to know at least the SM or SR a bit better. Then I started thinking I can just have the dealer install the parts I want and do the 1000mi. at the same time. I just dont want any static down the line should I need warranty work.....thats one of the biggest reasons I would like the dealer do the install.

Also, I would like to know the difference between installing the PCIII and SERT or should they be used in concert with each other. Is the SERT a actual part or is it just a download? Would what I want to do to the bike be considered a stage-1 or what?

thanks in advance guys!
So anyhow.....if some of you guys here could help out I would be forever in your debt!!!

Hey Biz, Somthing to think about. I have Rineharts on my 07. I love them, But the endcaps drive me nuts. As you know they are supposed to be black but after a few thousand miles the turned reddish purple. I've read on here that tends to happen to some of them. Just somthing to think about. I also have a SE high flow intake and a SERT. The combination of thease 3 items make the bike scream. I now have 5000 miles on the bike and it runs like a champ. Hope this helps. By the way those are some sweet lookin scoots.
